  • 　 SHORT BIOGRAPHY
  • She has been dedicated to classical ballet since childhood and turned to the arts in university. After graduating from Tokyo Zokei University with a degree in Film Arts and completing a master’s program in Illustration at Tama Art University, she held solo exhibitions for several years. She then studied abroad at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (Umprum) to study illustration books, where she earned an MgA degree and has resided in Prague ever since. While continuing to create visual storytelling books, she has for many years engaged in improvisational collaborations with musicians, allowing her to fully utilise both her background in the performing arts and her sensitivity to music. In addition to her annual solo exhibitions in Tokyo, she organizes live improvisational collaboration events with artists from a wide range of genres. Created in improvisational collaboration with music, her ink wash paintings are like a dance on paper. Emerging from the realm of self-forgetfulness, her expressive ink paintings reveal organic structures common to all forms of life from the universe to the earth. Through these purified abstractions, the audience can intuitively reflect their own vision that is within the heart.

  • 幼少期よりクラシックバレエの道に邁進し、大学から美術の道へ進む。東京造形大学映像芸術専攻卒業、多摩美術大学修士課程イラストレーション専攻修了後、数年の個展活動を経て、物語作品の勉強のため、チェコ国費留学生＋ポーラ美術振興財団在外研修員としてプラハ美術工芸大学イラストレーション専攻で修士号を取得、以降プラハ在住。ストーリー作品の制作を続けるかたわら、彼女の出自である舞台経験と音楽への感受性の両方をフルに活かせる、音楽家等との即興コラボ活動を長年続けている。東京で毎年の個展と共に、幅広いジャンルの表現者との即興コラボライブイベント『Stradvoidger』を主催。
