  • 　 SHORT BIOGRAPHY
  • Yukiko Taima, born in Japan, is an painter based in Prague. She is a Master of Arts in Tama Art University (2005) and a Maser of Arts in The Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (2015), majoring in Illustration and Graphic. Her paintings, live improvised collaborations with musicians, are organic abstractions that are both vibrant and meditative. Created to visualise music, her uninhibited expression leads the audience to find their own personal embodiment and stories in her paintings through their own inner receptacles. The orchestration of pleasing colours evokes in the audience a strong sense of energy, emotion and soul movement.
