  • 　 SHORT BIOGRAPHY
  • Yukiko Taima, born in Japan, is a painter and illustrator based in Prague. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Tama Art University (2005) and a Master of Arts degree from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (2015), majoring in illustration and graphics. Created in improvisational collaboration with music, her ink wash paintings are like a dance on paper. Emerging from the realm of self-forgetfulness, her expressive ink paintings reveal organic structures common to all forms of life from the universe to the earth. Through these purified abstractions, the audience can intuitively reflect their own vision that is within the heart.
