All art is a reconstruction of nature. When I improvise with music, I am natullary led to paint structures from micro to macro – from a cell to the universe. Paintings of Multidimensional Specimen series have no fixed horizontal or vertical orientation, and the audience is free to determine this for themselves as they view the paintings.

This year I decided to plan an exhibition that visitors could play themselves – exhibiting only the works created in “godzmekano”, a live improvisation project with a guitarist that started after the last exhibition. The aim of the exhibition was to allow visitors to enjoy playing with the actual paintings, holding them in their hands and finding the angle at which they could find a story or just feel personally comfortable.
Thanks to this, many people told me about the stories they had discovered and how different they had seen and felt. It was a very pleasant exhibition. The following year I used much the same system.

今年は前回展示後から始まった、ライブ音楽とライブペインティングの即興コラボ作品、godzmekanoで生まれた作品だけで遊ぼう！という展示に決めていました。絵を実際に手にとって、自分がしっくり来る、ストーリーを見出せる角度を自分で見つけて遊んでもらう展示にするため、机の上にほとんどの絵が並んでおり、椅子に座ってゆったりご覧いただける方式に設えました。おかげさまで多くの方に実際にお手にとっていただき、その見え方の違いや感じ方、それぞれのストーリーをお聞きできた、とても楽しい展示になりました。
